Badge Allocation

The PASS system is in operation so that normal procedures apply for gaining access to the course. Please use the PASS website at www.rcapass.com to manage your badge allocation and the PASS concierge service. Owners badge requests will not be taken over the phone in writing or by email; they must be done using the PASS system.

Sole owners are allocated eight complimentary badges. Partnerships and syndicates are entitled to eight badges. In addition, extra badges may be purchased at 50%, with prior notice by contacting the racecourse on 01245 360 300 or info@chelmsfordcityracecourse.com. Badges can be collected on the day from the Owners and Trainers desk at the main entrance; a PASS card will be required for proof of identification.

Stabling and Gallopers

Our modern and quiet stableyard, built in 2007/08 to the latest standards set by the British Horseracing Authority, offers a professional and secure environment for horses in training. With 125 boxes located in a gated yard, ample parking, and a dedicated team on hand, we strive to provide everything needed for a comfortable and efficient stay. Paper or shavings are available as bedding, although preferred materials cannot always be guaranteed.

The racecourse is also a popular choice among trainers looking to gallop their horses, and we take pride in being able to accommodate them. Our close proximity to Newmarket makes us an ideal base for teams preparing for major races, particularly those heading overseas. As a result, our facilities are now an integral part of many trainers’ programmes.

Please note that our Club Restaurant & Lounge is for a maximum of 8 per booking, is for 18s and over and gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt, jacket and tie and smart attire for ladies.
